How do I marinate Morningstar Farms Meal Starters chicken strips?

I want to make BBQ "chicken" pizza, so I want to let some BBQ sauce soak into my Morningstar Farms Meal Starters chicken strips. Should I put them still frozen into the sauce and let them thaw in there? Or should I heat them up first and then put them in the sauce? I don't know what works best. Help! How do I marinate Morningstar Farms Meal Starters chicken strips?
Probably heat them up first because if they are still frozen they won't absorb the flavor of the marinate. Once they are heated up put them in a colander with a paper towel on top of them. Then put a heavy book on top of the paper towel so you can squeeze any liquid or moisture out of the "chicken strips". After that, put the "chicken strips" in the marinate and let them marinate. How do I marinate Morningstar Farms Meal Starters chicken strips?
I find that cooking the Morningstar Farms chicken strips first gives them a better texture. I haven't tried making a BBQ pizza out of them, but I did recently make a Thai Chicken pizza. If you don't sautee the strips first they end up mushy; cooking them in a teensy bit of oil (I use olive oil) gives them a little bit of crunch on the outside that both my non-veggie husband and I (veggie) prefer. I wouldn't bother marinating - maybe just brush or dip them in the BBQ sauce before you put them on the pizza. Good luck and good eats! :)How do I marinate Morningstar Farms Meal Starters chicken strips?
Those are really good. I made chicken nachos today with them just popped them in the microwave and made my nachos. All you need to do is add the "chic" to the marinade and let it soak up all the flavors. You shouldn't have to let it marinade for too long because it isn't chicken it takes the flavor of things rather quickly. That has been my experience. But I would thaw them first before putting them in the bbq sauce. That is a great idea think I might try that tomorrow...
