Which is better apple iphone or samsung android?

Im planning to buy a cellphone this christmas, i want iphone, but my brother inlaw suggested samsung android, any suggestion?Which is better apple iphone or samsung android?
too many discussions these days that this and that are better than iPhone.



the fact it iPhone is the original idea, and all those are copycats for the gain.



despite that the new androids has a lot to offer in a hand-held device, the real value of iPhone is in Apple program iTunes, where you can get almost anything you need (or dont need) for free (there are applications to buy ofcourse), plus you can download TV shows, education programs and everything else from PODCAST and most are free.



the point is: the support of the iPhone is endless, dont waste your money on a device that the issuing company will produce a newer version and dump the one you bought, and really there isnt any manufacturer who offer more better than iTunes.Which is better apple iphone or samsung android?
First, to correct the other answerer- smartphones are not a new concept, and Apple is not the first to do it. SymbianOS, Windows Mobile, and Blackberry phones all existed before the iPhone and offer(ed) similar features/customization.



If you already have Apple products (like a Mac or iPod), an iPhone uses the same interface and programs, so it would be easier to navigate. However, you're stuck on AT%26amp;T (at the moment), whose infrastructure really isn't the best for high-speed data. There have been lawsuits over advertised coverage, etc. dealing with the iPhone.



If you don't have any other Apple products, or are a heavy Google user (gmail, etc.), Android is a nice alternative. It is an open OS started by Google and apps are controlled by the market. This means there is a higher possibility of malicious applications, but only if you wander off the Android Market (the Android equivalent of iTunes) beaten path and its thousands of applications. Many apps are free and those that aren't often have free alternatives.

Any Samsung Android is your best bet because there are varies of ones to choose from and each one have an unique way of customizing it in your way. Besides android phones looks way better than iPhones.
