Will my beach be under water if I drive my Hummer to a earthday event?

What with all the dire predictions about doom and gloom, I need some wacko advice. Will my beach be under water if I drive my Hummer to a earthday event?Depends on which wacko you ask:

Al Gore: I don't pretend to be qualified to speak for him, but would be unsurprised by anything he would say on this subject.

IPCC: Catastrophic sea level rises are possible, but not probable in my view. Given the minuscule sea level rise of 0.19 to 0.59 meters between when the report was released and 2100 that the IPCC is predicting, and the ocean's tendency to so far shoot for the lower end of that range, if that, the small islands and other low lands should be reasonably safe with a manageable problem.

The bit about sea level rise is on page 694 section 16.3.1.2.

So, no you should not have a problem there either.

Where you may have a problem is with the tides. Mostly, they are on a 25 hour cycle, and caused by the position of the moon relative to the earth. I do not know where you are located, but here is where you can look up what the tide will do at your beach when you are planning to go there:

Yes, just because you drove your Hummer to an event, the Earth is going to take its revenge on you. Will my beach be under water if I drive my Hummer to a earthday event? No. And you can rejoice in the fact that you're sending more money to "petrodictators" who oppress their own people, and fund terrorists.
