Hummers are useless offroad, they're too heavy, too wide, and way over-rated. All the civilian hummers are is a Chevy Tahoe with a different body attached. Not to mention they're ugly, get terrible gas mileage, and are always getting stuck in every mud hole due to their size and weight.
But if you must, I recommend a Warn 8,000lb winch, and an ARB Winch Bumper. Don't even think about getting one of those POS brush guards and trying to mount a winch to it, cause the first time you use the winch you'll rip the bumper and the brush guard right off the truck. I was going to say buy a Wrangler to follow you everywhere then you will never get stuck. Oh and the H3 is on the Colorado and Canyon platform not the Tahoe so it is smallish and apparently equipped to drive offroad. Not as well as a basic wrangler of course, and the rubicon just blows the H3 away, but better than say the FJ cruiser. Look at Warn winches, they have a good reputation and have many different models to choose from based on your needs.
