I bought and ate MorningStar Farms Hickory BBQ Riblets
'cuz it was labeled vegan, a lot ppl said Morning Star is a great vegan meat company. But tonight when I ate riblets... I found that it was very uncomfortable eating with some fat leans and gushy stuffs inside there! Is it possible that Morning Star farm co. lied abt being vegan and using animal product instead? Is Morning Star Honey Riblets a really vegan meat?
It's completely possible and more than likely that you're tummy aches and what not are psychosomatic. I've been a vegetarian for almost 4 years and morning star has not once gotten me sick. i've eaten out and eaten things I was told were "vegetarian" that weren't and TRUST ME you will physically know when you've eaten meat. It's definitely not a slight discomfort. I hate to get graphic, and I know some people's stomachs are how do I say it, stronger than others, but this is something you'd know no matter how strong your tummy is.
morning star does have vegan stuff but most of there stuff is ovo-lacto vegetarian. so while it most deffienetly doesnt have meat, it may have had honey, milk or eggs in it. however if it says vegan on the package then its totally vegan. those guys could get sued for selling false claims if they did use meat.Is Morning Star Honey Riblets a really vegan meat?
Morningstar has been making analogues for decades. I used to eat them when I was a teenager, back in the 1980s (dad keep kosher and has heart condition). Check the ingredients. By law, they have to accurately list the ingredients. If it says it's vegan, than you can trust that it's vegan.
Highly unlikely. That's the sort of thing companies get put out of business for. If you're in doubt, check the ingredients, or email Morning Star directly. Just look for their website and they will have an option to contact them online. Is Morning Star Honey Riblets a really vegan meat?
Morning Star Farms is an all VEGETARIAN company, since they use milk, eggs and honey.
