How do i change the vibrate when i receive a text on my Samsung Rogue?

I got my samsung rogue yesterday and went through the set up. it gave me the option to set how high the vibrate is when a text comes in and i thought i had it high enough but i don't. Is there any way to change this? i have a hard time knowing if my text has come in or not.How do i change the vibrate when i receive a text on my Samsung Rogue?
@the first answerer, that doesn't work. i really would like to know as i have the same problem. it's not in the startup wizard (which is where the vibrate option was in the first place), or where you said.How do i change the vibrate when i receive a text on my Samsung Rogue?
It would be under settings and then sound. Either ringer type or alerts. Not sure what which one. But then if might give you the option of messages and voice calls. It would be under messages then text messages.
