I've had it for about. 3 weeks now and love it!!! I haven't had any problems with it so far, and love the qwerty keyboard. It's a simple phone that's easy to use and navigate, as a 13 yr old i find that it's perfect for me as a teen, and also many adults have and love it. Im not really disappointed with it, i was just disappointed that i cant download or upload pics and music to it without a memory card. But for the price it very well worth it, i just suggest that u buy a hard durable case for it along with a screen saver. It also has a 4 out of 5 rating.
Pros:
-long battery life-i've gone 3 days without charging it
-easy to navigate
-you can lock the key pad manually or have it automatically lock to
insure no buttons get pushed
-web enabled
-pretty good camera
reg., pic, and voice or audio text messaging
-email,chat,mobile im(aim, aol, and yahoo messenger)
-voice commands
-vz navigator
-bluetooth
-small and compact, fits easily into jean pockets
-when receiving a call, text(multi, reg.,audio,ect.), and more you
can have it read aloud the name and number along with time
recieved, who it's from and much ,more
-capable of aiming someone from ur phone to their computer
through text messaging along with updating statuses-this is free
however i think u need unlimited texting tho to not get charged
-i find that i get great signal at school unlike my old phone
-and many more
Cons:
- you have to buy a memory card to download and upload music
and pics
-pay to play games
-need to buy ringtone if u want a certain song for it-unless u upload
music and use that-i personally just blast my ihome and record a
audio text and send it to myself and save it
-no zoom or video(i've heard you can do both but haven't figured
it out yet
Overall i love it and haven't had any problems, and its a great deal for the price; im just disappointed that i have to get a memory card for it which is expensive like any other memory card for any other phone after investing about $45 on it including a case. I've read reviews on the verizon website and u hear problems that only one person has and rates it as a 1 or 2 after that one little problem. Hope this helps...if you do get the phone please tell me what you think of it, and would be glad to answer any questions you may have. What are the pros and cons of the samsung intensity?

What are the pros and cons of the samsung intensity?THE GOOD: The Samsung Intensity has an attractive and compact design, a great keyboard, and a nice display. It has a megapixel camera, a music player, and GPS.
THE BAD: The Samsung Intensity can't download songs over the air even though it is compatible with V Cast Music, the navigation keys are a little cramped, and the photo quality could be improved. The microSD card slot is inconveniently located behind the battery cover.
THE BOTTOM LINE: The Samsung Intensity is a simple entry-level messaging phone with a few multimedia goodies that's very affordable and easy to use.
