Anyone else experience this? I am going to have the Thyroid test panels run again to be sure but:
My TSH levels were slowly increasing over the last few years.. from 1.77 to 2.65, to 3.63, to 4.24, to 4.44 at the last test in 2009.
I just had my TSH tested 2 weeks ago and it came back at 2.62!!!
I had noticed that I havent been feeling fatigued like I used to be. I have NEVER taken thyroid medication. I opted to get serious about changing my diet and exercising.
Since December of 2010, I began cutting out simple carbs, sugars, and gradually added coconut oil supplements, pharmaceutical quality Omega 3's (Olympia Labs or Nordic Naturals brands), green tea, Selenium, and sprouted grain breads along with fruits n veggies. I also completely cut OUT soy products (I used to eat ALOT of soy - Morningstar farms products, soy milk etc daily).
Along with the TSH levels that I had been concerned about, I have Antithyroid Antibodies also (first diagnosed in 2005 they were 685, and in 2008 they were lower at 550) so I was told that I have Hashimotos.
Wondering if anyone else has naturally lowered their TSH levels? Without ANY medications I mean!
Again, I am going to confirm this with a retest, but since I am feeling alot different I am assuming the test was accurate. I think we have all become so dependent on western medicine and the belief that ONLY drugs will help us. What I have am seeing in my test results proves that it can be done naturally.
Looking forward to hearing your answers! My TSH has IMPROVED without medication!?
With Hashimoto's one cycles between hyper %26amp; hypo. Normal TSH is .3 - 3 w/ most feeling best at %26lt; 2. However, this all means little w/ antibodies present as is the case w/ Hashimoto's.
God bless
