Did I eat too much today? Did I eat healthy today?

Breakfast:

Pita bread (60 calories) with peanut butter (180 cals), a banana (105 cals), and a glass of vanilla rice milk (120 cals)



Lunch:

A Morningstar Farms Garden Veggie Pattie veggie burger (110 cals), string cheese (70 cals), about 10 green grapes (34 cals)



Snack:

Double Chocolate Klondike Bar (240 cals)



Dinner:

A sesame roll (115 cals) with Sundried Tomato and Basil Hummus (50 cals), mashed potatoes (170 cals), green beans (31 cals), and a glass of green tea (80 cals)



Snack:

Dried cranberries (130 cals)



Total calories: 1,495



I also drank several glasses of water throughout the day.

Btw, I'm trying to lose weight by eating healthier and less, and also exercising. If I eat like this and exercise, will I lose weight?Did I eat too much today? Did I eat healthy today?

I wish I had that many good ideas when it comes to eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You seem to know what you are doing. You have a good balance of vegetables, dairy, and fruit! A suggestion--try adding more protein. Add meat into at least one of the meals. I think I will use some of these ideas because I start school next week and I am choosing not to order hot lunch this year because I want to continue eating healthy, as I did this summer.



The Klondike Bar is OK, but try to only indulge in them once or twice a week. Frozen Yogurt is a good option and some only has 100 calories/serving!

You are doing very well. Keep it up! And every now and then you can reward yourself to your favorite treat. Dieting is no fun if you have to stick with your daily routine.
