Rouses and Wholefoods as were already mentioned will carry them. If you want some help on restaurants that have vegetarian options here you go.
Options are somewhat limited in most cases.

Most of the upscale places will gladly make something for you upon request as I am sure you know. Most of what I have listed are causal local places. Obviously Italian, mexican options etc can usually do something. Hope this helps.

Although not on the menu the chef (susan spicer) will do something special and its always great.Supermarket on the way to FQ from Airport?
since morningstar and boca are national brands, you can go to winn dixie and wal mart and find them. you'll find both on the way to the FQ from the airport, at least i know wal mart is on the way. winn dixie may be out of the way, rouses may also have it but i haven't shopped there in years.
The Whole Foods market mentioned in the first answer is you best bet for natural foods.
The Rouses Market at 2900 Veterans Blvd in Metairie is a very large grocery store:

There is a grocery store in the FQ at the corner of Saint Peter and Royal Streets. It isn't very big but has the necessities.
Supermarket on the way to FQ from Airport?
There's also a Whole Foods market on Magazine Street, but that may be out of your way.
If you're looking for vegetarian food, you almost definitely want to stop before you get to the quarter. The only places I could find to buy groceries were the A%26amp;P on Royal and St. Peter and the Walgreens on Decatur. I don't think they carry much specialized food. Except Zapp's chips. Mmmmm....Zapp's....
