There is this brand of veggie-meat called "morning star" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morningstar_Farms).
Now take a look at this Bibble verse:
Isaiah 14:12
How you have fallen from heaven, O MORNING STAR, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!
Isaiah 14:11-13
This verse is where GOD refers to Lucifer (Satan) as HIS morning star (before he became Satan). Proof that Satan makes veggie-meat and that Veg*ns are demons.Proof vegans are possessed by Satan riiiiiight here!?
Don't get it. I couldn't go without meat because of my hemophilia, but each to their own. All I know is vegan children seem to me more sickly. White and pale looking. My sister an early childhood community nurse says they are more prone to childhood sickness and aren't as alert as they should be. That is their choice like religion.
I think more information will come out in the future.
Humans are natural omnivores, eat meat and vegetable matter. It is what helped our brains evolve from monkey tree living creatures to what we are today. The protein enhances allot of brain functions and inables strength and stamina. It has nothing to do with the bible.
All I can say is it is bad for children to have that sort of diet, lacking protein and that is all I have against the vegans. Vegetarians are fine because the include egg and milk products. All I can say is don't force your eating regiment on your children. We all know adults need far less that children in nutrition to survive.
Everyone should let their children experience as much different food as possible. I don't force my beliefs on my children, why should I force my eating patterns on them. They eat what they enjoy from a wide list of very natural and nutritional food. If anything Vegans have to accept their children's choice to have the chance to try different foods. No one is born a Vegan or a (religions) Bu dist or a Catholic. Let them have a choice you did. Fair is fair.
If we are possessed then you are certainly tempted. Why would you be here otherwise? I suggest you escape while you still can, leave this board now! Save your soul!Proof vegans are possessed by Satan riiiiiight here!?
I don't believe in Satan... or Christianity as a whole.
It doesn't prove anything. Thats like taking something out of Harry Potter and trying to twist it to make someone out to be [whatever is in HP, never read it]
Actually, most morningstar products aren't vegan, they're only vegetarian (they use eggs and milk) I believe one or two of the burgers, the mince, and meal-starters are vegan. Most everything else isn't
So, I'd say it's proof vegetarians are evil :}Proof vegans are possessed by Satan riiiiiight here!?
Humorous yes, but more research is needed.
Morningstar products are vegetarian not vegan.
They have eggs and dairy in them.
So vegans are still satanless, although they may be full of seitan.
you are so funny
I'm actually possessed by Buddha but this a pretty good trolling question. I gotta give credit where credit is due. Oh by the way- I gave up all mock meat about four months ago. Does that qualify as repentance(smirk).
oh pls stop relating vegetarians to satan. you are even using some phrases from bible for this stupidity.. it is you who is possessed! get a life and stop minding other people's life...
Maybe /that's/ why I got called the hot chick from Hell the other day. It's because I'm vegetarian...and I thought it was because I was taking cheap shots at him all night. Silly me.
muahaha im spawn of satan? sweet.
im agnostic love. :]
You really don't have anything else to do, do you ?
I've been told some people lead empty and pointless lives, I used to think "surely not?" but i guess i'm starting to see what they meant.
If you start quoting a work of fiction that was heavily edited ( alomost cut in 2 ) in the 14 Century by monks and mistranslated many times then your arguement is on dodgy ground
i am vegan, and i've never ate any morning stars
speaking of satan, i don't beleive in god
so er, satan is just a figmeat of your imagination
/fact is fiction
edit, i've been to cracker barrle, it was no good
it's like the fattest resturant i've ever been into, everything have either 1lb of sugar melted into or it is made from 1lb of sugar, and i'm sure it's good for old people, i feel the place is very racist
:O Bwahahaha! Okay, I'm vegan, and I laughed. I'm glad to see some originality in here every once in a while.
smallbluejellybe
that could be the worst post i have ever seen in this forum.
http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/?page=g鈥?/a>
hmm these guys look like they are getting more than enough protein :/
I dont know where the hell you live man... but where i live i know plenty of vegan kids that kick *** and are definately not pale. tough beach going and tree planting, kids all the same, out in the sun all the time with great diets getting plenty of exercise.
any diet can be bad.
meatitarian, omnivorous, vegetarian or vegan, its not very hard to eat unhealthy crap on any diet.
A vegan diet is just like any other diet, it requires knowledge and dedication, and just like a meat consuming child's diet it requires just as much knowledge and dedication.
Humans are not 'natural' omnivores, our digestive system is incapable of processing meat, so we burn it first so we can get it through and even then it literally rots our digestive system in the process.
there is plenty of great plant based protein sources.
plant based protein sources all come with lots of good essential fatty acids, where as meat is loaded with saturated fat which has a huge effect on bad cholesterol.
essential fatty acids have been linked with brain health and are used throughout the entire body, they are abundant in the same great sources of plant based protein, legumes, nuts, seeds, grains.
your talking about children's health saying we should feed them protein, yes i agree.
but there is one thing your missing, humans have no nutritional need for saturated fat whatsoever. the body produces all the cholesterol it needs, there is no requirement.
so your saying that we should poison kids so they grow up right? uhh yeah.... research first, open mouth second.
these pale kids your talking about sound like they dont have enough essential fatty acids in thier diets, as essential fatty acids have a great effect on the complexion : ) maybe they need more sun too. a weekend tree planting and a few days down at the beach should do wonders.
kids will always imitate and follow their parents, its how they learn to be an adult.
sure let them decide what they want to do when they are old enough but as a parent or legal guardian its your job to say what goes and doesnt, for better or worse.
kids will choose candy. ive never met one that wouldnt :/ i would have when i was a kid.
--
as for your, the veggies gave me thumbs down because they hate meat people tantrum...
seriously, ive seen most of the people post on this forum, and im sure they down rated you for the exact same reason i did.
for perpetuating myths. your opinions are your own and i doubt anyone here really cares that much but that rubbish you said about protein is all unfounded hearsay and conjecture.
research first, open mouth second.
wow, and i thought i had no life!
so, are all people named luke possessed too since they have the same name as satan?
man, religion is hilarious!
Stupidest thing I've heard all day and that's saying a lot considering the large amount of trolls in here all the time.
You musta been prretttyyy bored dude.
"blackbyrus"'s answer is what i would of wrote..he took the words out of my mouth! hahah...xoxox
ps. there is thousands of words in the dictionary, you are bound to find pretty much any word/phrase in it..
well... i gotta hand it to you. this one is better than the animal crackers question.
ur wacked and a bit hurtful, my friend is a vegan, and is a very faithful Christan. And being vegan doesn't mean u eat that veggie meat. Sorry but thas not a question, its hurting some people's feelings. Just an FYI!
Then you have proven my husband right as I am, according to him, the spawn of Satan!!!
hahaha too funny.
Matthew 7:1-5 (NIV)
鈥淒o not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
鈥淲hy do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 鈥楲et me take the speck out of your eye,鈥?when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."
Rom. 2: 1-3 (NIV)
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment?"
Thats just for your, because you are SO Christian, right? Then follow your own verses.
Good Grief! This is nothing but hog wash!
wow, are you serious? with all that is wrong with the world today you are pointing your finger at soy imitation meat?
I work @ Cracker Barrel and if youv'e ever been to one, then you know that 99% of the food has meat in it. Even the veggies have meat minus about 4 veggies we offer. So I hate when vegans come there to eat and then complain the whole time they are there. Yes, vegans are the spawn of satan. J/K vegans, I like veggies too.

Has anyone ever tried these? Are they any good?
Morningstar Farms庐 Veggie Sausage Links
http://www.seeveggiesdifferently.com/pro鈥?/a>
How about their other products?
I'm not a vegetarian, but I am trying to cut back on some of my meat intake. I figured this would be the best place to ask. Basically, I'm looking for something to substitute meat without tasting terrible or bland.Has anyone ever tried these? Are they any good?
I have tried them, but I didn't care for the way they cooked up - too dry. They are tasty though. I do eat morningstar farms veggie dogs and veggie corn dogs - very yummy. For sausage, I prefer the Gimme Lean (it's in the produce section at my store), comes in a package just like Jimmi Dean and has a really good flavor (we only add a little sage). I also use Morningstar farms veggie sausage crumbles, when I can get them. There is also a product out there called Soyrizo (also in the produce section), which is a chorizo like substitute that is really good in mexican cooking.
Yeah, they're really good. As are the patties. Most sausage is easy to imitate since the taste is pretty much just spices.Has anyone ever tried these? Are they any good?
Omg! delish!
they taste really good!!!
just like the actual thing.
i advise all of the morningstar products ans boca products, they are both vege friendly. also if you have a publix in your area, i suggest you try greenwise (publix soy brand). It is completely VEGAN and it tastes great lol.Has anyone ever tried these? Are they any good?
They're actually really quite good.
If you nuke them in maple syrup, they get even better.
As you begin to treat yourself and your body by switching over to things like this, your taste buds will change.
In time, you won't WANT to eat the "old way."
Yea there OK, but don't put them in the microwave because it makes them STINK, for real I'm not joking if you buy that brand the just pan fry them or in the oven, I think that it might be a chemical in them or something, but there good.
So far everything that I've tried from Morningstar and Boca is really good. Also look for Yves and Lightlife. Great stuff. Yves Tofu dogs are great! I think that it's great that you're cutting down on meat. The animals would thank you for it if they could talk. It's so much healthier to go without.
Never the Sausage links, but ANYTHING by Morningstar is EXCELLENT.
Edit: I do beleive that if you give veganism or vegetarianism a chance you will never want to eat meat again. Its unhealthy, its DISGUSTING, and worst of all is the suffering that the pig went through so that someone could have some ground up flesh next to their Chicken Embryo smothered in aged breast milk from a cow... YUMMY *puke*
Yes, they're really good. The sausage patties are even better! And try their burgers- Grillers Prime. Fry 'em up in a skillet until they're almost burned- and YUM!
i don't eat these (they aren't vegan), but i eat some that are very similar. i pan fry them in a little syrup and then roll them up in a pillsbury cresent roll. bake for 10 minutes and they are delicious.
I haven't tried those, but I like Morningstar Farms' chik'n strips stir-fried with veggies.
Other good faux meats to try are:
Nate's Meatless Meatballs
Tofurkey Deli Slices
Boca Chik'n Patties
Gardenburger Flame Grilled Chik鈥檔

I know processed food is not good for your health, but how about frozen vegetarian and vegan food? food?
Example Morningstar Farms庐 Hickory BBQ RibletsI know processed food is not good for your health, but how about frozen vegetarian and vegan food? food?
No, those things are still highly processed and pretty much junk food. I mean, they're okay for something quick every now %26amp; then (for example, my sister keeps things like that in her freezer for times when I stop by %26amp; happen to wind up staying for a meal. She keeps some kind of "meat" thing and then a couple full frozen meal things.), but you shouldn't base your diet around them or anything. Home cooked food is always best. :) If you like bbq, you can make bbq tofu or seitan. It's really easy.
I would stay away from the fake meat products except occasionally; I'd say no more than once a week. They are processed, though they can be good sources of protein if eaten in moderation. If you want quick meals, I'd say frozen rice, veggies, edamame, etcetera, pita sandwiches are the best.I know processed food is not good for your health, but how about frozen vegetarian and vegan food? food?
morningstar farms etc is just junk food in fact sometimes those vegetarian entrees are BAD. one brand has 1250 mg sodium per serving, and 1 serving is actually 3 servings for real people.
frozen vegetables are terrific if they don't have heavy sauces on them. they are usually frozen at their peek (like the commercials say. heh heh)
Check out the sodium load on those bad boys. One riblet has 1/4 of your daily allowance
They are loaded with fats, chemicals have an extremely high caloric load. (one riblet is 220 calories, ehm empty calories is there is nothing of nutritional value in them)
They are not good for you.I know processed food is not good for your health, but how about frozen vegetarian and vegan food? food?
Such processed vegetarian/vegan food is not good for your health. Of course they contain the chemicals and other garbage from being artificially manufactured, but if vegans ate only healthy natural food (like organic fruits and vegetables) then they would be malnourished.
That's why I firmly believe the best option is to eat a balanced diet that includes meat.

What to make for child-friendly, vegetarian, New Year's Eve? ?
Any ideas for something not too complicated to make for two families for a New Year's Eve dinner/ evening?
I live in Europe so any ideas for something that seems typically American (if there's such a thing) would be great.
Also, since we live abroad, please avoid very specific products that we can't get here (e.g. Morningstar Farms or something).
Thanks! What to make for child-friendly, vegetarian, New Year's Eve? ?
Grilled portobella burgers %26amp; potato salad
Mini veggie pizzas
Batter fried veggies (mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini, artichoke hearts, asparagus, cauliflower....) with ranch dressing
Nachos with sour cream %26amp; guacamole

Are these meat imitatiors over processed?
i usually like anything from morningstar farms (burgers, nuggets and bacon) boca (burgers and smart deli(lunch meat). My mother told me I should lay off because they're over proccessed and essentially counterproductive for getting protien. But she also harps on me to go back to eating meat, so I don't know if she's lying!
Which are the least proccessed and best for me?Are these meat imitatiors over processed?
They make those for people who are stuck in the meat-eating rut, so even if they stop eating meat itself, they have to have something that looks and tastes kind of like meat on their plate.
Cook real food. Eat real food. Accept no substitutes. 鈭犅?Are these meat imitatiors over processed?
Best are unprocessed natural proteins like beans tofu. seitan, quinoa .
Yes those are over processed and loaded with saltAre these meat imitatiors over processed?
idk bro

What goes good with mashed taters?
im hungry, and i wanna make mashed taters and gravy, but idk what to have with that. im a vegetarian and i eat morningstar farms products but all i have is the chikn, i cant think of ANYTHING!!
any ideas? What goes good with mashed taters?
mashed potatoes taste pretty good with corn and peas smooshed in. (Don't mash the corn or peas, just mix it into the potato.) this is especially good if you put garlic in the mashed potatoes. You can have that, and a chik'n sandwich. If you have lentils, or a can of lentil soup, you could make a gravy, or put the lentil soup in the blender, and use that as gravy.
how about a vegetarian burger? What goes good with mashed taters?
...the chicken?...
Corn, peas, cabbage, spinach. What goes good with mashed taters?
if you have tofu or can make tofu....
you can season that and fry it with teryiaki sauce...
it's really good!
Ketch up, sourcream, melted cheese, and almost any kind of meat
Mashed carrots, peas and green beens. BBQ chicken!
fried tofu or sesame tofu....the bomb, baby!happys pizza
