There were 40 people holding hands around it and nobody saw anything. How does a magician make a hummer disappear.?I saw this trick performed on "That's Impossible" on the History Channel.
Let me list a couple things I noticed first.
They made a big deal over the radar because that's where they wanted your attention. Have you ever seen a real radar with a picture of a Hummer on it? I didn't think so.
If you watched the curtains, you could see shadows inside the curtains and underneath the platform. What were they doing? Well......
The "magician" basically keeps your attention so that once the three-sided curtain goes up (yes 3), the people on the backside (where you can't see) move out of the way and a ramp is attached. The Hummer can then slide down the ramp and behind the black curtains. Everything is moved back like it was and the people rejoin hands like nothing happened.
Pretty simple when you think about it. :)How does a magician make a hummer disappear.?
i saw this on secrets of a masked magician which regularly airs on television at night. He did this by camera trick and when they lift the sheet over the "object to be disappeared" your eyes are focused on the magician who is in full zoom by the camera men, and what you don't see is him moving to the side. You will not know he's moving because the sheet and camera seem to be still. So when the sheet is dropped, he just actually moved a few steps to the side (left or right) and the "object" is gone. The camera does not show what is around to the left or right. Just changes the focus on things. Does this kind of make sense? How does a magician make a hummer disappear.?40 people holding hands around it and they were probably all in on it. Definitely a 3 sided curtain as stated. So the people in the back HAD to be in on it. Also big black curtain behind it. A little bit of a side swipe me thinks? How does a magician make a hummer disappear.?
Run them over.....Nobody saw a thing!How does a magician make a hummer disappear.?Marry her

Why did GM want the Hummer brand name when it already had an established line of SUVs?
What was the marketing strategy of doing this? Why did GM want the Hummer brand name when it already had an established line of SUVs?To compete with Jeep. GM had SUV's but nothing with any off road following. Of course they made Hummer a joke with the H2. The H3 is pretty capable but too little too late.
The HUMVEE is built by AM General which is a completely separate company from GM. The HUMVEE is being phased out because its not built for what its being used for and not very good at it. It has nothing to do with GM selling the Hummer brand. Why did GM want the Hummer brand name when it already had an established line of SUVs?If you say "Hummer", you think of big, strong, military vehicles.
Names have power.
Kia makes sedans, right? Would a Rolls Royce Phantom buyer run into a Kia dealer for an Optima? I don't think so...Why did GM want the Hummer brand name when it already had an established line of SUVs?Miller is actually not entirely right. The Hummer line was built to capitalize on the fame of the H-1 and the market for the biggest, baddest SUV. While off-road capability was part of that, The rest was status and exclusivity. The idea being is that what was selling. Why sell a Tahoe when you could sell very basically the same truck, for a larger profit margin. If GM was trying to compete with Jeep they would have built much smaller vehicles. While the H-3 was a shot at that part of the market, it was poorly conceived and executed. Had they actually produced the original concept, (short bed regular cab) I believe it would have taken off with a much better following in that market. Instead they turned it into a TrailBlazer, which was not the greatest seller anyway.
As a big fan of the H-1, and GM, I was extremely disappointed in all of the Civilian Hummers. They started out as a very capable but big military vehicle. It was this because of it's sparse interior, and some loss of comfort and "luxury" in exchange for off road capability and utility. In the translation into the H-2 and H-3 line they forgot what made the H-1 so successful. They took utility and ability out in exchange for luxury and status, and therefore killed the line. Now they could not keep up with a jeep on the trail, and the luxury was found in both the Caddy and Tahoe, without the looks of the Hummer. (never a strong point)Why did GM want the Hummer brand name when it already had an established line of SUVs?
G.M. Didint want the hummer name, G.M. Made hummer to begin with, and it was origonally HUMVEE. they sold it to some company in china recently. International is going to be taking over the military vehicle application when the hummers get phazed out.

First of all, decide what you want BEFOREHAND. Like everything else in this world, add-ons are additional.
Based on a non-accessorized (standard) model of the H3, you will shell out around $30,000 for the vehicle. Adding extra features and custom options may escalate that figure to $100,000 or more.
No matter what you spend for your H3, make it YOURS. That will make your vehicle PRICELESS!

The H2 is NOT based on the tahoe frame or chasis! The Hummer H2 has its own unique frame.
CHASSIS CONSTRUCTION: THREE-PIECE, FULLY WELDED FRAME
A fully welded ladder-type frame, with a modular, three-piece design that incorporates a number of hydroformed components, provides outstanding strength, stiffness and dimensional accuracy for H2's chassis. The hydroformed front section helps create the H2's high approach angle.
The front frame section incorporates a GM-first standard winch receiver. It is designed to handle an impressive 9,000-pound capacity winch for freeing a vehicle that's helplessly grounded.
The mid-frame has a stamped-steel box section design, with inner and outer sections and a clamshell-welded configuration. Its strength and stiffness help minimize ride and body vibrations, contributing to a smooth ride on-road and providing the strength and stiffness required to handle severe bumps and jolts.
The hydroformed, short rear-frame section helps create a high departure angle. It is heavily reinforced in key areas for H2's 8,600-pound GVWR capacity. The rear section incorporates a standard, integral trailer hitch receiver. Unlike with most SUVs (whose hitch receiver is added on), the H2's is built right into the last crossmember of the frame rail and developed into the bumper. A Class 3 trailer hitch is standard.Hummer h1 h2 and h3 price difference and off roading capabilities?
The H2 has the tahoe frame and is based off of the chevy tahoe and the H3 has the Colorado frame and is based off of the chevy Colorado. So the H2 and H3 are GM trucks that are meant for the roads. The H1 hummer was built by AM General and is the only off road vehicle in the line up.
P.S. Oh and I'm not sure but I guess me and derrick S got the information from two different sources. I'm assuming the Trailblazer and Colorado also have the same frame.Hummer h1 h2 and h3 price difference and off roading capabilities? The H1 is the only real Hummer - the H2 and H3 are re-bodied Chevy Truck platforms that GM was able to use the name on because the paid AM General big bucks for the name. The H2 and H3 are no longer produced, and the H1 was discontinued in 2006 as a Civilian offering, but AM General still makes the HMMWV that the H1 was based on for the Military.
