Hummers are useless offroad, they're too heavy, too wide, and way over-rated. All the civilian hummers are is a Chevy Tahoe with a different body attached. Not to mention they're ugly, get terrible gas mileage, and are always getting stuck in every mud hole due to their size and weight.



But if you must, I recommend a Warn 8,000lb winch, and an ARB Winch Bumper. Don't even think about getting one of those POS brush guards and trying to mount a winch to it, cause the first time you use the winch you'll rip the bumper and the brush guard right off the truck. I was going to say buy a Wrangler to follow you everywhere then you will never get stuck. Oh and the H3 is on the Colorado and Canyon platform not the Tahoe so it is smallish and apparently equipped to drive offroad. Not as well as a basic wrangler of course, and the rubicon just blows the H3 away, but better than say the FJ cruiser. Look at Warn winches, they have a good reputation and have many different models to choose from based on your needs.

Let me list a couple things I noticed first.

The HUMVEE is built by AM General which is a completely separate company from GM. The HUMVEE is being phased out because its not built for what its being used for and not very good at it. The Hummer line was built to capitalize on the fame of the H-1 and the market for the biggest, baddest SUV. While off-road capability was part of that, The rest was status and exclusivity. The idea being is that what was selling. Why sell a Tahoe when you could sell very basically the same truck, for a larger profit margin. If GM was trying to compete with Jeep they would have built much smaller vehicles. While the H-3 was a shot at that part of the market, it was poorly conceived and executed. Had they actually produced the original concept, (short bed regular cab) I believe it would have taken off with a much better following in that market. Instead they turned it into a TrailBlazer, which was not the greatest seller anyway.



As a big fan of the H-1, and GM, I was extremely disappointed in all of the Civilian Hummers. They started out as a very capable but big military vehicle. It was this because of it's sparse interior, and some loss of comfort and "luxury" in exchange for off road capability and utility. In the translation into the H-2 and H-3 line they forgot what made the H-1 so successful. They took utility and ability out in exchange for luxury and status, and therefore killed the line. Now they could not keep up with a jeep on the trail, and the luxury was found in both the Caddy and Tahoe, without the looks of the Hummer. Any physical damage to the mirrors and I'd be willing to bet the dealership denies your warranty claim. They have seen it all when it comes to stuff like that. If Hummer is fixing this under warranty, why not just wait to see if they even break?

"Conservatively," Goodwin muses, scratching his chin, "it'll get 60 miles to the gallon. With 2,000 foot-pounds of torque. You'll be able to smoke the tires. And it's going to be superefficient."



Of course, the conversion costs a ton of money, but the things he's doing are pretty cool. See the story below.

I suggest adding Autoviagra to the gasoline/diesel and that would increase the overall mileage by 14%, and decrease the emmissions by 75%. This mixture is the ideal because it would burn complete with no emissions . of course you cant be exactly 14.7 to 1 but it is close and the stuff that doesn't burn goes into the catalytic converter which acts like a filter and burns off the rest. almost nothing bad comes out the tailpipe. as long as you keep the Hummer maintained and tuned up you will be fine. you will burn more fuel but the emissions will be very low.

The picture on my Samsung TV has shifted upwards?

My Samsung TSL3293HF 32" Dynaflat made in 2002 is having a screen problem. The screen has a portion at the bottom that is all black, and the remaining portion of the picture has shifted upwards. When on for a long period, the picture continues to travel up until there is no visible picture left on the screen. Any ideas how to fix this on my own (i am a novice) or how much it would be to get repaired. I have a picture i can send as well. I don't know if this will help but on my newer Samsung, in the zoom mode, I can shift the picture using the arrow keys. You'll know when you change the picture ratio using the remote button (not through the menu) since you would get a little picture pop up beside the screen setting when you do it.

On the other hand, this may be why I can do it on a newer set. They had problems previously!

Once you cross the border its international. I would call the company and ask. It costs more money to call and text people when you're out of the country no matter where the receiver is. If you're in France and call a buddy in France, it'll cost more money. If you're in France and you call someone in the U.S it'll cost more money. Unless you have some sort of international plan set up. Then it really doesn't matter. It costs the same amount to text someone out of the country if it is part of your plan.

What to do with Samsung LA32C450 satellite channels bad image?

I have a Samsung LCD TV LA32C450 and it's connected to a satellite receiver through an AV cable. The image quality of most of the channels is not even as good as my old TV. A friend of mine advised me to buy an LCD TV box to connect it to the receiver then connect that box to the LCD TV through a VGA cable.



Would that suggestion help? and if it doesn't, is there any other way to get a better image than I do now?

"LCD box?" Can't imagine what that is. You do not need anything between the satellite receiver and the TV. It's a direct connection.



You won't see a difference between A-V (yellow-red-white) and VGA connections. They're both analog. Also, be aware that the VGA jack does not include audio.



It's not uncommon for the analog picture on an HD TV (which is what you have) to be worse than on an old analog set. HD sets are digital, and must compromise an analog signal in order to display it. Sometimes that results in image quality that's worse than with an actual analog TV.



Your solution is to upgrade to HD service. Contact the satellite company and request an HD receiver and HD channel package. Then, connect the new HD receiver to your TV with an HDMJI cable. That will solve it.

I had the Samsung Eternity for a while but didn鈥檛 care for it too much. The ringer and vibrate was not all that great. I also did not care for the OS on the phone. If you are dead set on a touch screen phone go with the Impression. That way you still have a button keyboard to use. I鈥檓 not a big fan of touch screen phones after having both the Iphone 3g and the Eternity. I went through just about all of At%26amp;t new phones and ended up staying with the Blackberry Bold and I鈥檓 very happy I did.What phone for At%26amp;t should i get the Samsung Impression or the Samsung Eternity?
depends on if ur a texter. i have the eternity and i hate it. its a nice phone but texting is very difficult so if ur a texter, go with the impression. they're mainly the same exact phone exept that the impression has a bigger screen, better color quality, and a keyboard. so i'd get the impression

Actually there is no default passkey for the phone. When connecting to your computer it can be any number as long as the same number is typed in on both devices the same. Now if connecting with certain bluetooth devices like headsets, they have no way to enter a passkey so if they use 0000 then that is what you must enter on your phone to get them to connect.

That's weird that you did not receive a cord, if you bought it new then the usb cord is connected to the power cord. just disconnect the cord from the adapter and plug it into the computer.



The drivers should load automatically if not go to samsung site and search for Samsung Fascinate and go to I own this and download the latest drivers.

You will need to findout if your TV has availible VGA or DVI inputs. Next you will have to go to your local Mac dealer and buy a adapter cable for you mac. You will need to tell them the model of laptop you have. Can be easier to just bring the laptop. As each model has a different mini-video addapter. You will then also have to buy a VGA or DVI cable of what ever length you need to connect to your TV.

I just got the Samsung Mythic and I love it! The only thing about it that bothers me is the indicator widget. I like the idea of it so I want to keep it on my first homescreen; however, anytime I get a new message or whatnot, the indicator appears on whatever screen I'm on.
